Q. What do I need to do to activate my Preview Gallery storefront web site once it is set up?

A. Your EZ Preview Gallery will be ready to use right away after you follow the steps in the email that we send with the download link and some simple instructions.

Q. How do I receive the orders from my customers?

A. We have the most sophisticated ordering system in the industry. The Preview Gallery Order Utility, which installs on your computer when you setup your site, regularly monitors your Preview Gallery site and automatically downloads your new orders to your computer.

If you are using one of our participating labs, if you designated the event as an eXpress Order event, the images for the order will be retrieved and the order will be sent to the lab in a minute or two. All behind the scenes, without you doing a thing. eXpress Orders are usually sent directly to your clients from the lab.

If you designated the event a standard event, the retrieved order will STOP in your computer, you will get a message when you open the Preview Gallery Order Utility and the order will be in the Web Orders folder, with the ordered images. You can retouch, crop, color adjust your images and click the button and send the order on to the participating lab.

If you do not wish to use the participating labs, you would just process your order as you usually would.

Q. How do I get paid for an order?

99% of our photographers using Preview Gallery set their sites to allow two ways for their customers to pay them. They set their site to use their Business Paypal™ account for immediate payment acceptance, and also set an option that their customers can select to contact the photographer personally to finalize payment arrangements. You don't have to do it that way. You can use just Paypal, or just "contact me to arrange payment." It is your choice.

Q. Can I have clients' orders stop in my studio so I can retouch the images?

A. YES. This is a totally flexible system that YOU control. You can have orders go directly to our participating lab, or to you.

Q. How do I rotate, organize, resize and upload my images to my Preview Gallery storefront?

A. We provide you with our Presentation Gold software to quickly and easily do all of these things, plus the newest version has the new Preview Gallery Upload Toolbox that makes preparing and uploading images to your site even simpler and faster than before.

Q. Can I display my wedding albums on my Preview Gallery web site?

A. YES. You can display your albums in a "side by side" presentation in your gallery. You can display albums created in Presentation Gold Album Designer, Photoshop, or any other album design software.

Q. What does Presentation Gold do beyond uploading images to Preview Gallery?

A. If you want more image management functionality, you can use Presentation Gold to handle many image management tasks beyond preparing and uploading images to your Preview Gallery:

• From numbering your images in time stamp order after the event, to the final delivery of the prints and albums to your clients. It is a flexible system that allows you total control. You will only need Photoshop for retouching.
• You can do it all in our system, and do it better, easier, and faster.
• We recommend you take the Preview Gallery system for a trial run, just use the Preview Gallery Upload Toolbox to upload your images and see how that all works.
